The shared word does not create a shared product role
SMC means Sheet Moulding Compound in the current DMC/SMC Resin TDS. By contrast, Samrat Poly Resins, India's Sheet Grade Yellow Resin and Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin pages are separate product routes for finished FRP sheet, panel or roofing-sheet contexts.
The same word can refer to different buyer questions. Treat the published product role and its current TDS as the selection starting point rather than assuming any resin with 'sheet' in its description uses the same data.
When the DMC/SMC route is the relevant discussion
Use DMC/SMC Resin when the requirement is specifically a Dough or Sheet Moulding Compound context. The current TDS describes that route as an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin and publishes its own liquid-resin supply data.
It does not transfer the application, appearance, processing or performance claims from a finished FRP sheet-grade product into the moulding-compound discussion.
When a sheet-grade route is the relevant discussion
Use the Sheet Grade Yellow or Roof Light Sheet Grade product pages when the buyer is selecting a resin for the separately published FRP sheet, panel or roofing-sheet application. Those products have their own documentation, supplied appearance and buyer guidance.
If the request is unclear, state whether the finished requirement is a moulding compound or a conventional FRP sheet or panel. This simple distinction improves the product and document review before quotation.
