Compare the documented product identity first

Samrat FRP Traders publishes ISO Fire Retardant Resin and standard Fire Retardant Resin as separate products. The ISO FR TDS describes an isophthalic-based, halogen-free, ATH-filled fire-retardant grade. The standard FR TDS describes a separate halogenated fire-retardant UPR grade.

That distinction helps a buyer begin the discussion, but it does not prove that either grade is universally stronger, more durable, more fire resistant or suitable for every finished FRP system.

Do not compare names without the project requirement

Record whether the requirement specifically calls for isophthalic chemistry, a fire-related project specification, particular documentation or a defined finished component. Then review the current grade-specific TDS for the material route being considered.

If a project requires a particular test method, classification or tested configuration, share the original wording. A resin designation alone does not confirm a finished-part classification.

Use the comparison to improve the enquiry

Ask the supplier to review the intended FRP component, required documentation, project requirement, quantity, packaging and delivery location against the two published grades.
