The current ISO Fire Retardant Resin TDS positions the grade for railway and marine applications, automotive fire-rated components, FRP panels requiring fire compliance, electrical enclosures, tunnels and construction-related FRP. These categories help identify where an isophthalic FR route may be evaluated.

They do not represent a certification, authority approval or a guarantee that every component in those categories meets a particular fire requirement.

Move from category to the actual component

An industrial buyer should identify the finished part, the exact project wording, any required documentation, the service context and the reinforcement or surface-system context where relevant. This enables a discussion about the listed grade without assuming the product name defines the final composite result.
