GP Yellow Resin for Cooling Tower Manufacturing
Cooling tower casings and internal components need a resin that cures reliably under sustained moisture — GP Yellow Resin uses the same MEKP and cobalt octoate cure system as GP Clear Resin, in a thicker, slightly slower-gelling grade suited to larger panel lay-ups.

Common questions
GP Yellow Resin is suited to casing panels, louvers and structural components in the same way GP Clear Resin is. For internal areas exposed to continuous circulating water with water-treatment chemicals, check the specific chemical dosing against the resin's resistance — a Vinyl Ester Resin laminate is often preferred for the most aggressive wet-deck environments, regardless of which general-purpose resin is used elsewhere in the tower.
Not for any performance advantage — both cure into the same type of structural laminate using the same MEKP/cobalt system. GP Yellow Resin's longer 10–15 minute gel time can suit a production run where several large panels are laminated across a shift, giving more working time per panel, but this comes with a correspondingly longer production cycle than GP Clear Resin's faster gel.
Panels are typically laminated with E-glass chopped strand mat, with additional layers added at ribs and edges for stiffness — the same reinforcement approach used with GP Clear Resin.
Yes, for standard cooling tower operating temperatures, in the same way as GP Clear Resin. Its cured laminate is stable under continuous moisture and moderate warm-water exposure typical of induced-draft and packaged cooling towers.
It is cured at room temperature with an MEKP catalyst (around 1.5%) and a cobalt octoate accelerator (0.3–0.5%), the same non-accelerated cure system used across Samrat FRP Traders' general-purpose grades — dosage is adjusted to suit the pace of panel production and the resin's own longer gel time.
